Just received an email from Paradise Palms designer, William Krisel.

"I WANT TO SAY ‘THANK YOU’ TO ALL OF THE HOMEOWNERS FOR APPRECIATING THE DESIGN AND ENJOY LIVING IN THEM.  IT IS WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED FROM EACH OF MY 40,000 HOUSING UNITS BUILT ALL OVER THE USA.  I AM NOW 86 YEARS OLD AND ENJOYING THE ‘SPOTLITE’ ON MY MID CENTURY MODERN ARCHITECTURE.  THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST.  BEST REGARDS,  BILL KRISEL"

Original Paradise Palms sales brochure. Model #6.

Model 6 are all on the south side of Desert Inn. 6a with the butterfly roof and 6c seem to be the most popular homes in the neighborhood. There are quite a few of them that are untouched and still in perfect shape.
"Built-in NuTone counter top blender-mixer." A very nice feature. I have seen several of them and they are neat.
I've seen one remaining "decorative block divider in an entry hall" and it is amazing. I'll ask if I can get back in to take a photo of it.

This 6c on the golf course up for sale right now. Tell anyone interested in getting into a mid century modern home that this place is for them.
