A note from Paradise Palms builder, Irwin Molasky.

I sent an e-mail to Irwin Molasky and invited him to the opening of the Paradise Palms photo exhibit at The Boulevard Mall. Unfortunately, he didn't see the e-mail till after the event. I told him that there are 337 people who have interest in Paradise Palms and are friends on our facebook page.

He send an e-mail back and wanted me to share this with everyone:

Paradise Palms was Nevada’s first planned community. We started it in the late 50’s – pretty close to the time we opened Sunrise Hospital (12/15/58). We chose to work with Dan Palmer and Bill Krisel., 2 young innovative architects from California, who had success in the Southland area – particularly Palm Springs. They were dedicated bright young men and together, we planned a community of curvilinear streets with parks, schools, golf course, shopping centers and large lots. In the first year we opened, we won the American Builder Award for the “Best” planned community.

I am delighted to know that some 50+ years later, that all of your group appreciate our efforts. Please give my respect and best wishes to each of your 337 friends. I would like to be one of them.

Sincerely,

Your friend,

Irwin
